Twig was launched in April 2007. Twig is owned and operated by me, Elizabeth Burbage. Twig is based on my love for beautiful objects, whether it is clothing, shoes, art, jewelry or anything at all. I love the details and special touches that designers/artists put into their work. I have loved clothes since I was a little girl - I can still remember my favorite pieces of clothing from age 7!
Everything at Twig is hand selected by me. The products I offer are a blend of modern, traditional and handmade. You can trust that the items I sell are of top quality. Design and quality are extremely important to me. I also have a strong appreciation for handmade. Many items at Twig are handmade including the clothing and shoes. I'm drawn to the smaller fashion labels due to the fact they are extremely well made and the individuality they bring. Many of the designers I carry only make limited quantities. They are not a dime a dozen!
Some of the designers/artists offered at Twig currently include: Orla Kiely, Chie Mihara, Cydwoq, Erica Tanov, Hazel Brown, Mor Mor Rita, Imps & Elfs, Pip-squeak Chapeau, Kit & Lili, Julie Arkell, Creative Thursday, Camilla Engman (coming Fall 07), and many, many more.

In addition to Twig, I am the mother to two beautiful children, Andrew and Emery. They are the inspiration for many of the children's items available on Twig.~ Elizabeth Burbage
