Fabulous photos!

Happy Friday all! What a busy week it has been. NY at the start of the week to see what exciting offerings for Fall children's clothing to end the week with Gary Graham pieces posted on the site. I am most excited about the photos of the Gary Graham collection. The oh so very talented MAV of Port2Port Press did the style photos for this collection. AMAZING! I wish I could do what she does. She has such a way about the photos she takes. Please make sure you check them out. My favorites are the Smocked Muslin Skirt and the Chie Mihara Dura shoes. Children's Show for Fall 08

I'm in the great city of NY at the moment attending the children's clothing shows. The designers have been busy creating some beautiful pieces for Fall08. Twig will have new pieces from Buzz Buzz Tweet Tweet, Mor Mor Rita, Kit+Lili and I'm very excited to be carrying the fabulous costumes (and regular clothing) from Wovenplay. Exciting things to come in the Fall. Back with more exciting updates later this week.

Modern Twist Placemats

The Modern Twist placemats just arrived and the existing orders will ship out on Friday. I have to say I sold out of the Monster and Owl mats already, but no worries as more are on the way. If you are not familiar with Modern Twist products they are so cool. They are made of silicone and feel amazing. You can even write on them with a ballpoint pen to indicate whose place is whose. The designs are amazing. They teamed up with Matte Stephens for his monster and owl designs and Rex Ray for some great graphic images. I love them all - so hard to decide which pattern - may just have to have some of each! Check out all the Modern Twist products at Twig right here.

Handmade Rag Dolls

The newest doll collection to Twig are handmade in California by Jess Brown. These rag dolls measure about 22" in length. The cotton muslin is tea stained to achieve their warm color. Their great clothing is made from all different types of fabrics. The collection for Twig happens to wear Erica Tanov frocks. How great is that! This doll is sure to make any girl (of all ages) happy and become a cherished friend.
